Letter from the Mutual Support Network in response to Energy Megaprojects

Letter from the Network of Mutual Support in response to the Energetic Megaprojects to the Minister of Ecological Transition and to Commissioner Arias Cañete in connection with the purchase of dirty energy to Morocco and in support of the demonstration against the abuse of Electrical Network of Spain ( Granada, Saturday, April 13, 12 H.)

The Network of Mutual Support in response to Energy Megaprojects has been denouncing since last March 1 the purchase of dirty energy to Morocco, considering a scandalous abuse and fraud of Electricity Network of Spain and the energy oligopoly.

Now that the matter has already reached the mass media and after proving that neither the Spanish Government nor the European Commission take clear and forceful measures to prevent these highly polluting and fraudulent imports from continuing to occur (There are even those who, in the height of cynicism and hypocrisy, are taking advantage of “pitching the ember of their sardine“), our Mutual Support Network has referred both to the Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, and to Commissioner Arias Cañete, the letters that We publish below. In addition to updating the data on this gap, unprecedented at European level, in the Carbon Trading System or ETS, we are moving a series of questions more than pertinent to this scandal and we argue that this murky issue is nothing more than logic C Onsecuencia of the energetic model defended by those who support the increase of electrical interconnections with our neighbors from the south and north.
