In September REE wants to start work on boosting the power through the Órgiva – Benahadux line that leaves the substation and goes up the Rio Seco towards Cerro Negro and Tijola.

From the platform we have prepared objections for those directly and indirectly affected for you to sign. The deadline to deliver them to the administration ends next Tuesday, August 18!

If we don’t want them to boost the power in the line we have to hurry! We encourage everyone to sign and submit the objections. This REE project only brings disadvantages for those of us under the line. Apart from being subjected to increased electromagnetic radiation in our daily life which can cause serious health problems (Cancer, Heart …), we will have an increased risk of fire, aggravated in hot summers and windy days.

We are not going to like the construction works either. It will require, amongst other things, heavy machinery of between 35 – 45 tons that has to pass through the town, do the entire route of the Tijola road and also climb the Cerro Negro.

We hope there are lots of us who want to sign and submit the objections.
