To all neighbours and friends in Órgiva and the Alpujarras

At yesterday’s meeting on 21 January at which we announced the new website blog, new people arrived despite the winter temperatures. And with it raining outside, inside the town hall we brainstormed our plans to oppose the intended electric highway above our heats.

Amongst other things, we are going to launch our fight for the Alpujarras on a crowfunding page to raise money for the possible expensis for a lawyer and other coasts. That means a lot of work.

In addition there was talk of the possibility of having a bar at various events, a walk along the line, parties and demonstrations among many other things. We have already created small working groups to carry out our proposals and which you can join.

We also plan to set up a new email address as soon as possible for your ideas, questions, suggestions etc.

We are sure there is a lot of talent here in the Alpujarras, so we invite you to think about how you could get involved. We’re waiting for you !

The next meeting will take place on February 4, 2020 , at 8pm in the Townhall.
